The University of Limerick MBA class, pictured here on their recent visit

to South Africa, raised almost 11,000 for Soweto Connection in advance of their trip. The money raised will go directly towards the purchase of a vehicle for the Raphael Centre's Nikithemba programme. The programme provides mobile voluntary counselling and HIV testing in rural areas of the Eastern Cape in South Africa. The money raised by the MBA students means that the Centre, which has been one of Soweto Connection's partner groups since its set-up, will now be better equiped to respond to the dire need for the services.
