After organising their first fundraising drive in March, the Ballyneety Foróige Club in Limerick arranged a successful sports day shop and a series of church gate collections for Soweto Connection in May .
The Club started to plan a series of fundraising events to raise money for Soweto Connection in March. They started by collecting donations from family and friends, and by giving their own money from the club. See Ballyneety Foróige Club Raise Funds for Soweto Connection for more on this.
In May the Club organised two seperate fundraising activities for Soweto Connection. They ran a shop at the St Kevin's Community Games sports day on MAy 1st. And on MAy 13th/14th they held church gate collections at all the Saturday evening/Sunday masses in Donoughmore/Knockea/Roxboro parish.
