A very successful Table Quiz night was held in Schooner's Bar, Steamboat Quay (Limerick) on Wednesday 10th November. Sixteen teams took part in the 10 round quiz, with a Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) team battling it out in a tie-breaker for the first prize of €100 with a team from the University of Limerick (UL). In the end the LIT team were victorious.

Between the quiz entry fees, raffle ticket sales and donations, the amount raised by the event came to a total of €1211. All the prizes were sponsored, and so all the money taken in goes directly to the beneficiaries in the South African communities.

The organisers are also indebted to Brenda and all the staff of Schooner's Bar, who ensured the night was a great success.
